Tornado Risk Iowa to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan
Thunderstorms this afternoon and Thursday night will bring the greatest potential for tornadoes in recent weeks and will target areas from central Iowa to parts of Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
**People in the risk area will need to keep an eye on the sky for rapidly changing weather conditions. Heed all watches and warnings and have a plan in place before the situation become dangerous.**

Why not say, rather, “keep an eye out for rapidly changing weather”? Then why confuse people with “watch” and “warning” when it’s the former that makes it sound like there’s a tornado to actually be seen!
